Extreme & Extra Option (Power Battle)

When you beat the game normally the first time, you'll unlock Extreme
mode, which will appear on the main Power Battle menu, right under Versus.
Extreme mode lets you face all 18 Robot Masters, 3 Castle Guardians and
Dr. Wily in one sitting. All the bosses are randomly selected, including
the battle sequence against Dr. Wily at the end stage. Score/Time Data is
stored on the same screen as Arcade mode Score/Time does. |

Beating the Extreme mode will unlock this option on the main Power Battle
menu, right under Options. Some extra nifty settings and bonuses lies within
these quarters. |

You can change the Game Speed of the game to 1.00, 1.25, 1.50, 1.75,
and 2.00. The higher the number, the faster it'll be. You can change the
Language between Japanese or English. WP.Energy lets you choose if you want
to have infinite use of weapons or not. Score Data will reset all your game
scores and times whenever you feel like doing so, but if you have some awesome
hard to beat hiscores and time records, it's not recommended to use this
option. Default sets everything back to the start settings the game used
to have and Exit takes you back to the main Power Battle menu. |

Try changing the Language to English, then Exit to the main menu....

....and voila, the game and the dialogues will be in full english. |
